Abstract
The main stages of algorithms for characters’ gender identification in Belarusian electronic texts are described. The algorithms are based on punctuation marking and gender indicators detection, such as past tense verbs and nouns with gender attributes. For indicators, special dictionaries are developed, thus making the algorithms more language-independent and allowing to create dictionaries for cognate languages. Testing showed the following results: the mean harmonic quantity for masculine gender detection makes up 92,2 %, and for feminine gender detection – 90,4%.

Abstract
A fast version of correlation algorithm to track objects on video-sequences made by a nonstabilized camcorder is presented. The algorithm is based on comparison of local correlations of the object image and regions of video-frames. The algorithm is implemented in programming technology CUDA. Application of CUDA allowed to attain real time execution of the algorithm. To improve its precision and stability, a robust version of the Kalman filter has been incorporated into the flowchart. Tests showed applicability of the algorithm to practical object tracking.

Abstract
A mask-phase method of localization of straight lines in an image is proposed. It is based on a preliminary quantization of line segments with respect to orientation by using a library of binary masks and rectification of straight lines by using oriented Hough transform. The method allows improving the speed and quality of straight lines localization if there are changes of brightness, contrast and image noise.

Abstract
Markov queuing network with income in transient regime is considered. It has positive and negative messages, which can be used in forecasting income of information and telecommunication systems and networks affected by viruses. Investigations are carried out in the cases when incomes from transitions between network states are deterministic functions dependent on states, or they are random variables with given mean values. In the last case it is assumed that all network systems operate in a high load mode. An example is given.

Abstract
The problem of scheduling jobs on two parallel machines to minimize the sum of completion times is considered. Each job requires a setup which is done by a single server. It is known that this problem is strongly NP-hard. Two mixed integer linear programming models and a simulated annealing algorithm are proposed. The performance of these algorithms is evaluated for instances with up to 250 jobs.

Abstract
A mathematical model of a thin circular sandwich plate being under the vertical load is proposed. The model employs the finite element method and takes advantage of an axisymmetric finite element that leads to the small dimension of the resulting stiffness matrix and sufficient accuracy for practical calculations. The analytical expressions for computing local stiffness matrices are found, which can significantly speed up the process of forming the global stiffness matrix and increase the accuracy of calculations. A software is under development and verification. The discrepancy between the results of the mathematical model and those of analytical formulas for homogeneous thin circular
sandwich plates does not exceed 7%.

Abstract
The paper describes a method of interval estimation of reliability indices of an object having a consistent block diagram of reliability calculation and input data for calculation of reliability indices in the form of interval estimates. The technique is based on the model of indirect measurements.

Abstract
Synthesis of optimal digital controller for an electro-hydraulic system with the fifth order nonstatic controlled object containing oscillatory elements has been carried out. The system performance with such object and the designed optimal digital controller are verified via mathematical simulation. The achieved results are recommended to be used in practical implementation of similar digital automatic control systems.

Abstract

A family of the Maclaren–Marsaglia cryptographic generators for pseudorandom sequences
is considered. A probabilistic model of the memory dynamics for the Maclaren–Marsaglia generators is proposed and analyzed. The results of computer experiments are presented.

Abstract
Lexical and functional obfuscation is formalized. Brief survey of methods of lexical obfuscation is given and their drawbacks are investigated when applied to specifications in VHDL language. Complexity evaluation methods for specifications in VHDL language are considered. Complexity evaluation for different variants of VHDL specifications of a given digital device is presented.
