LOGICAL DESIGN

104-110 593
Abstract

The article reflects the problem of the average power estimation which is consumed by a CMOS circuit by means of its simulation on the test sequence of input actions. The method of forming test sequences of complete enumeration for sequential circuits is offered. The method is based on arcs traversal of the line digraph corresponding to the state transition graph of finite state machine representing the sequential circuit.

SIGNAL, IMAGE, SPEECH, TEXT PROCESSING AND PATTERN RECOGNITION

70-77 782
Abstract

The article focuses on the problems existing in text-to-speech synthesis. Different morphological, lexical and syntactical elements were localized with the help of the Belarusian unit of NooJ program. Those types of errors, which occur in Belarusian texts, were analyzed and corrected. Language model and part of speech tagging model were built. The natural language processing of Belarusian corpus with the help of developed algorithm using machine learning was carried out. The precision of developed models of machine learning has been 80–90 %. The dictionary was enriched with new words for the further using it in the systems of Belarusian speech synthesis.

Abstract

The chaos-based image encryption algorithm using parallel computing is described. To reduce the amount of encrypted data the wavelet-based compression is used. Some of the wavelet coefficients are encrypted with the use of confusion-diffusion scheme and the qualifying coefficients are encrypted by the algorithm based on reversible cellular automations. Resistance of this algorithm to statistical and differential cryptanalysis was evaluated. The SP 800-22 statistical tests were performed. These tests demonstrated that the binary sequence generated by the algorithm is close to the random one. The algorithm testing was performed. The algorithm productivity was estimated. The encryption rate for the test image in the case of lossless compression was 8 Mbit/s.

Abstract

The article studies the process of creating a perceptually-motivated dictionary of the timefrequency functions based on the wavelet packet transform optimized for the input signal frame and its utilization in the universal scalable real-time audiocoder. The article points out the importance of the topic, great attention is paid to the psychoacoustic modelling. It describes the following algorithms: sparse approximation, perceptual adaptation of the wavelet packet decomposition tree, input signal encoding/decoding schemes. The results of the experimental research of the developed coding algorithm and comparison with the modern coding schemes such as Opus and Vorbis based on the objective quality assessment PEAQ – ODG were also given.

MATHEMATICAL MODELING

5-15 718
Abstract

The main idea of the article is the development of the method for solving the boundary-value problem of penetrating the plane monochromatic electromagnetic fields through the screen made from the material with space dispersion. The problem is based on the use of the differential mathematical model of the medium with space dispersion, classical boundary conditions of continuity of the tangential components of the fields and complementary boundary conditions on the face surfaces of the screen. The article gives an analytical solution of the boundary-value problem and examines the ratio of screen performance by the reduction of the field while passing through the screen.

Abstract

The article considers the problem of the exact analytical solutions finding nonlinear equations of mathematical physics to simulate dynamic systems and nonlinear physical processes. The algorithm of the generalized Fourier method of variables separation for building solutions of nonlinear equations is offered. These equations include linear parts and nonlinear quadratic differential forms consisting of the sum of products of function powers and derivatives. The offered algorithm generates a series of new solutions of third-order partial differential model equations with quadratic nonlinearity.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN

Abstract

The article provides a brief review of a condensing unit and problems of mathematic simulation. It examines the influence of pretension on the strain-stress state of a construction by means of finiteelement modeling. The arrangement of a set of input-output data for neural network is also considered. The article investigates a possibility to predict mounting precision via neural networks; by analogy with the above calculations it examines the option to detect clamping forces on mounting compressorcondensing unit.

Abstract

The article reviews the principle and methods for creating the models of distributed engineering knowledge as well as software implementation of such models in the form of the Information and Logical Table Server (SILT) resulted in development of a cluster based on the WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) technology and reciprocity of the SILT elements. The cluster might be entered by means of a special web application which is an element of SILT using every device with a web browser and access to the internet.
